We take our production procedures very seriously. Here is one way we ensure zero defects.

All prescriptions are reviewed to insure that the practitioner is a *medical professional. The prescription must be accompanied by a *3-dimensional representation of the foot taken in an acceptable *casting technique.

• The cast is inspected for *structural integrity
• The cast is checked for casting *inconsistencies (ie.) wrinkles or
bumps

A work order is generated that details all fabricating instructions, including cast corrections, shell materials, shell grind specification, posting, covers and shipping instructions. Q/C reviews the *original prescription, *cast and *work order to confirm that all is correct.

• Our prescription and work order forms are quite detailed, enabling us to produce a more accurate device. If errors are found the w/o is sent back for rewrite.

A corrected cast is created using the work order. Q/C reviews the cast to confirm that the cast modifications are correct.

• All aspects are checked including, *forefoot posting, *arch parabola, *traverse arch and *lateral arches are all checked for correct apex and cast contouring, *calcaleal inclination angle, and *symmetrical heel expansion. If errors are found the device is sent back for rework.

A shell is pressed, extrinsic posts are applied and the shell is ground to the specifications on the work order. Q/C reviews the shell and cast for:

• Accuracy of *press and *proper material, the grind is checked for appropriate *shape and the extrinsic posts are checked for *correct degree and *size. If errors are found the device is sent back for rework.

Covers are applied taking into account all covering instructions, the orthotic is then polished and cleaned. Q/C makes final review of entire work order and prescription for to confirm:

• Proper *cast modification, *shell type and *thickness, *postings, *shell grind and *covers have all been done in accordance with the prescription. If errors are found the device is returned to the appropriate department for rework. After inspection a label is applied and the device is bagged.

The order is packaged and shipped to the customer according to the work order. Once invoiced the documents and casts are stored for future reference.
